One busy morning about 8 years ago (I believe the photo was taken in 2000) when Ajahn baen just completed the meditation place/branch sub-monastery (whatever the right word is) in Kao Yai. Normally there are less bhikkhus than this, except for important occasions.

Do you know if this temple accepts Farang for Ordination? I have been looking for a Thai tmeple (non english speaking) to ordain me for almost 4 years now, to no avail - i can speak read and write thai and also khmer script for bai Lan Pali texts and can chant Pali prayers using Thai text. Most of my training in Buddhism and meditation, chanting etc has been made in Thai language and in Thai temles, but till now have not found a Temple that will ordain me, despite the fact that i stay often in Gutis with Bhikkus and practise.
I believe in the forest tradition, and Tudangka
